Utah law requires that each class for credit which the pharmacists and technicians attend are ACPE certified. Many ask what the ACPE code means for them. The last segments of this long number is the most important thing to pay attention to.
If a class involves interaction with an instructor, especially with the ability to ask questions and get immediate responses, this is considered a "LIVE" course. Pharmacists need 12 live of their 30 hours each licensure period, and Technicians need 8 live of their 20 hours.
There will also be an additional indication of P or T, which signifies if the class content and objectives are for Pharmacists or Technicians. Do not attend a class that does not include your corresponding letter without making sure that credit for the class is being recognized by DOPL.
