Continuing Education 

UPhA provides accredited continuing education programs to members to enhance their professional development. This currently includes live educational programs and other professional development seminars on a regional and statewide basis at reduced rates to members. We currently hold two events annually: Our Annual Convention and our Mid-Year CE in the fall/winter.

Advocacy

We continue to be the voice of pharmacy for Utah. For many decades, UPhA has provided quality representation and lobbying in the Utah State Legislature. When it comes to legislative and regulatory issues affecting how you practice, UPhA is there expressing your collective concerns. We communicate your message to those who have the resources to address your needs. These include: DOPL, the DEA, the State Board of Pharmacy and many other related parties. We have also been involved in ensuring that your issues are presented in Washington DC. Membership support allows this voice to be heard and recognized.

Publications

Our News Capsule provides twelve issues with the latest information about matters impacting your profession - both locally and nationally. Along with the News Capsule, members also have access to our news updates, with all of the latest pharmacy news all in one convenient location.

Career Center

UPhA assists Pharmacists and Technicians in finding employment opportunities, along with allowing pharmacies to submit job openings for potential employees. We can also help Pharmacists buy and sell pharmacies.
