SIDP has developed a COVID-19 Oral Antiviral Toolkit in conjunction with National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA). The content of this toolkit is informed by the experiences of pharmacists with expertise in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19 and who practice in diverse settings (community, outpatient, inpatient) and diverse patient populations (pediatrics, adults, immunocompromised).
Toolkit Features: •Decision tree to assist screening patient eligibility for oral antiviral treatment of COVID-19 in the outpatient setting •Process resources (e.g. ordersets, documentation forms) to assist with ordering/prescribing of oral antivirals •Educational resources (e.g. handout for pharmacists, product comparison table) •Checklist to assist with implementing a COVID-19 Test-to-Treat program at a local institution/facility
