As part of its new curriculum, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Utah is introducing student research projects that will be required for all PharmD students, and we are now accepting submissions for project proposals.
The current class of P2 students will begin working on these research projects in Fall 2017 and complete them by Spring 2019. During the next few months we are looking to collect ideas for projects from faculty and partners outside of the College to generate a list of projects. We will make this list available to the PharmD students in the second half of the Spring 2017 semester, and match students to projects based on their preferences.
If you have an idea for a research project you would be interested in advising and that would benefit you, you can submit your proposal via the College of Pharmacy’s website (http://pharmacy.utah.edu/). From the College of Pharmacy homepage scroll over the “Faculty & Staff” menu and click “PharmD Project Idea Submission.” Please consider submitting a project proposal, and you are welcome to share this form with anyone who you think would be qualified and interested in advising a student research project. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Craig Henchey or Dan Witt: Craig.Henchey@pharm.utah.edu and dan.witt@pharm.utah.edu.
