Cancers linked to tobacco use make up 40% of all cancers diagnosed in the United States

A new CDC study says that 40% of all cancers diagnosed in the United States may be linked to tobacco use. According to the Vital Signs report in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, for each year between 2009 and 2013, approximately 660,000 people in the United States were diagnosed with, and about 343,000 people died from, a cancer associated with tobacco use
