2018 Annual Convention

The Utah Pharmacy Association is sorry to inform you that the 2018 Annual Convention & Expo scheduled for May 3-5 has been postponed until August 9-11. 


The Utah Pharmacy Association was recently made aware of changes to our accreditation status with ACPE which will not allow us to provide approved ACPE education. We have reached out to other accredited providers to help approve our education, but due to the proximity to the upcoming event, it is not possible to get the approval in time. We know that approved education and professional networking is important to our attendees at this event.


Due to this change and the close proximity to our upcoming Annual Convention, the UPhA Board of Directors has made the decision to postpone the Annual Convention & Expo until August 9-11, 2018. This will give UPhA time to approve education through an ACPE provider and continue to work to rectify the approval of education with ACPE. The event will still be held at the Dixie Center in St George and high quality education will be provided.  


We know this will affect some that are already scheduled and registered to attend. For those that have already registered, we can offer you the following options: 


  1. We can apply your payment to the August event. 
  2. We can refund the registration cost to the credit card in which the original payment was made.


We will reach out to each attendee and vendor to confirm your option.
